5. Advertising Google AdSense
This website may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of this website and other websites in order to provide you with relevant advertisements or to measure advertising performance. This may include information about your visits to this and other websites.
Google AdSense uses the DoubleClick cookie to serve more relevant ads across the web. You can opt out of the use of this cookie by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before loading advertising cookies. If you do not provide consent, non-personalized ads may still be shown. Non-personalized ads are targeted using contextual information (the content of the page) rather than behavioral data about you.
Google's advertising practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites and apps that use Google services at google.com/policies/privacy/partners.
The mobile application uses Google AdMob to display ads to users on the free tier. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, device information, and usage data to deliver and measure advertisements.
Users with an active premium subscription do not see advertisements in the mobile application. The website may display advertisements regardless of subscription status.
6. Analytics Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the site, which pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to our site. We use this information to improve our website and services.
Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit our site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a persistent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google.
Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits by disabling cookies in your browser, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We have enabled IP anonymization in Google Analytics, which means Google truncates IP addresses within EU member states before storing them.
7. Push Notifications OneSignal
The AnonLink Social mobile application uses OneSignal to deliver push notifications about new anonymous messages, rating activity, and account events.
To send you notifications, OneSignal assigns your device a push notification token. This token, along with basic device information (device type, operating system version, and notification interaction data), is processed by OneSignal to deliver and measure notification delivery.
We link your OneSignal push token to your AnonLink Social account so that notifications can be directed to you specifically. We do not share this information with third parties outside of the notification delivery function.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → AnonLink Social → Notifications) without affecting your ability to use the app. Disabling notifications means you will not receive real-time alerts for new messages but can still check your inbox manually.
Learn more by reading OneSignal's Privacy Policy.
8. Subscriptions and Billing
AnonLink Social offers optional paid subscriptions through the Google Play Store that remove advertisements from the mobile application and may unlock additional features.
All subscription payments are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card number or banking information.
To verify and restore your subscription across reinstalls, we store your subscription status, plan type, order ID, activation date, and expiry date in association with your account. This data is retained for as long as your subscription remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to support restore functionality.
Subscription cancellations and refund requests are managed through the Google Play Store. We cannot process refunds directly but are happy to assist you navigate the process — contact us at our support page.
