Community Guidelines
Last updated: August 17, 2026
AnonLink Social gives people a way to receive anonymous feedback, questions, compliments, ratings, and other messages. We want that experience to stay useful, respectful, and safe.
These Guidelines explain the kind of behavior we expect on the platform. They work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Our Standard
Anonymous communication can make honest conversations easier, but it can also be misused. Our goal is not to remove every negative opinion. People are allowed to disagree and give criticism. The line is crossed when content becomes abusive, threatening, deceptive, unsafe, or otherwise harmful.
A simple rule:
Say what you honestly think, but do not use anonymity as a reason to hurt, threaten, deceive, or expose someone.
What Is Allowed
The following are generally allowed when they remain respectful and lawful:
- Honest feedback about someone's work, content, or ideas
- Compliments, encouragement, and positive messages
- Constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement
- Questions and ordinary conversations
- Respectful ratings and reactions
- Opinions that someone may disagree with, as long as they are not abusive or threatening
What Is Not Allowed
Do not use AnonLink Social to post, send, request, promote, or coordinate the following:
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact
- Threats of violence, intimidation, or encouragement of harm
- Hate speech or attacks against people based on protected characteristics
- Sexual or sexually explicit content, especially content involving minors
- Sharing, requesting, or exposing another person's private or sensitive information without permission
- Impersonation, scams, phishing, fraud, or attempts to deceive people
- Spam, malicious links, malware, or automated abuse of the service
- Content that encourages self-harm, violence, or dangerous criminal activity
- Targeted abuse of children or attempts to obtain sensitive information from minors
- Attempts to manipulate Rate Me ratings, reactions, or other engagement systems
- Using bots, scripts, scraping tools, or other automation to abuse or disrupt the platform
- Any other activity that violates our Terms of Service or applicable law
Some situations depend on context. A critical opinion is not automatically harassment, and a disagreement is not automatically abuse. We consider the surrounding circumstances when reviewing reports.
How to Report Harmful Content
If someone sends you content that violates these Guidelines, please report it rather than responding with more abuse.
- Save enough information to help us understand what happened, such as the affected link, message, or account.
- Use the contact or reporting options available on AnonLink Social.
- Explain why the content is harmful or violates these Guidelines. Include useful details, but do not send unnecessary private information.
Report through AnonLink
Visit our Contact page to report abuse or request help. Please include the relevant details so we can understand what happened.
We cannot guarantee a particular outcome for every report. Some reports may require more information, and some content may not violate our rules even when it is unpleasant or unpopular.
How Moderation Works
AnonLink Social may use automated protections, user reports, and manual review where appropriate to address abuse, spam, threats, scams, illegal content, and other violations.
We do not promise that every message is reviewed before it reaches its recipient. Our systems and review processes are designed to identify and respond to problems, but no moderation system can prevent every harmful message from appearing.
Depending on the situation, we may remove content, disable a link, restrict a feature, suspend an account, or permanently block access to the service.
Enforcement and Appeals
We may take action when we have a reasonable basis to believe that these Guidelines or our Terms of Service have been violated. The response depends on the seriousness, frequency, and context of the behavior.
- Content may be removed or access to it may be restricted
- Links or features may be temporarily disabled
- Accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated
- Serious cases may be referred to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law
If you believe we made a mistake, contact us through the Contact page and explain the decision you are appealing. We will review appeals where practical, but we may not be able to reverse every enforcement decision.
Safety Tips for Using Anonymous Messaging
- Do not post private information that you would not want shared.
- Remember that a recipient can copy, screenshot, or share a message after seeing it.
- Do not rely on anonymity to protect you while breaking the law or harming someone.
- If a message makes you feel unsafe, stop engaging and report it.
- Keep your account credentials and private access information secure.
- For serious threats or immediate danger, seek help from the appropriate local emergency or law-enforcement service.
These Guidelines do not promise that every interaction will be safe or positive. They explain the standards we expect users to follow and the steps we may take when those standards are not met.
